Outside furniture, Tendencies

As regards pieces of furniture of outside, if the fashion is less capricious than in other fields, it does not exist about it less. Here what it is necessary to know as well as possible to arrange your terrace or your garden.

MATERIALS

The resin remains most widespread, but attention: the best y c?toie worst: cast solid armchair with less than 100 francs which makes you dance the samba when you sit down above and who possibly sends to you
at the hospital due to fall to the Multipositions armchair costing more than 1 000 francs, signed by a mark of reputation which you will perhaps leave in heritage with your small child... wood: one sees appearing pieces of furniture of outside out of wood to the most whimsical names and whose one praises exceptional qualities.

Some go even until claiming that the more wood is exposed to the bad weather, the more it becomes beautiful and solid: that really remains to be proven! No wood resists a long time the alternation of heat and cold, moisture and dryness. Not even teak, famous however imputrescible. Thus reserve wood with your covered and protected terraces, but especially not outside. Metal: there is of very pretty iron pieces of furniture, but iron - as steel - rust! It is thus necessary to choose pieces of furniture protected from oxidation by rustproofings and epoxy painting or, still better, by galvanization. There too, we advise you to avoid non covered outsides. Aluminium is the king of materials of outside: it does not require any particular maintenance, does not oxidize, fears neither the rain, nor the saline air. It is the only one which one can really leave outside without any protection. Expensive than other materials, its longevity is exceptional and the report/ratio price quality is very positive.
